It is Friday which means it is time for the felines and furballs to have their day to shine on the blog. Mia is starting us out here with the first week back since the move got started. We have lots of new furry neighbors to photograph out here and I'm looking forward to not only capturing photo's of them but sharing stories about them all.

Trinity is either showing off her fine tuned sleeping skills or her disappointment with me for once again failing to do this post on Friday. Coming up here very quickly I'm going to have to take some time off from doing...even a day late. The mini zoo is getting ready to move in February, and until I figure out who to use for internet out at our new place we will just have to go without. Hmm...maybe that is what Trinity was thinking about when I took the picture of her. The soon to be lack of an internet connection.

• Don't like being made to stay in room of Mom's choice with those stupid gates.
• Don't like gates
• Really don't like Mom!!
• Don't like birds, either in the house or those annoying ones that live outside.
• Don't like the rabbits that torment me from out side the fence line
• Don't like Mom and that stupid camera...Oh and just in case I forgot to mention it...DON'T LIKE MOM!

The first Feline and Furball Friday of 2010! I managed to get pictures of Mia, Trinity, and Gypsy Rose. After great deliberation I decided that the first of 2010 should be one of the felines. Oh and I didn't leave Angel out, she just is no where around for me to be able to find her.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday season, but in this house we are happy that normal routine is about to get going again.

I've been so busy this week I almost forgot about Feline Friday! Thank goodness I always have a ton of pictures in archive to pull from, because I think if I tried to take a photo of any of the animals today they would be nothing but huge blurs. This picture though was shot with my cell phone so not the best as far as quality but I love it because it show a happy Binky Sue with her girl Gypsy Rose.

Before anyone should ask...no we didn't get another dog. This little guy is Midnight. Midnight has an owner that doesn't seem to care if he is out running on the streets or not. The neighborhood children do care though and seem to think that every time they find Midnight out running the streets, that they need to bring him here to my house. Midnight actually had to come in the house this week for a short time because of the weather and me having to wait for his owner to get home. Guess what though, Midnight was right back out running the streets the very next day. I'm going to say once again here...if people don't want to take care of their animals then why do they get them?? I'm sure yet again this afternoon the kids of the neighborhood will bring Midnight back here and I'm pretty sure they are hoping that I will just keep him for good at this point in time. I can't though and I'm hoping that enough times of having to deal with me that his owner will get a clue in their head. I'm not going to hold my breath for that one though.

I know this should have gone up last night, but I just didn't get around to it. Mia was finally willing to let me kind of take a picture of her. I had to be fast because she just doesn't seem to care for the camera pointing at her recently.

Last Friday Miss Gypsy Rose crossed yet another major milestone since she came to live here with us. She spent six straight hours out in living areas of the house not only with the people, but with the dogs too! Now as soon as Binky Sue had to leave for work she hid for a bit behind and under the couch, but she eventually came back out and joined me on the couch. Because if you are a scared kitty cat who isn't used to spending that amount of time out of your comfort zone you really want to be next to the person who can offer the most protection from those big dogs and Mom of the house is the best one. Of course Gypsy had to have a bit more of a fort built up around her to make her really comfortable, oh and the laptop to lay on for extra warmth. Once again it was a happy moment on the path to healing this kitty cat.

Just a real quick for tonight and a promise to come back either later or first thing tomorrow to add links to Carly and Dylan. Angel and Gypsy are currently hiding from the 7 extra 14 year old that have taken over the house tonight. After the current noise level drops down to just 2 extra 14 year olds I might be able to coax them out of hiding again, but I'm not going to make any bets on that. They know the noise level that has happened to the house tonight.

This morning brought a major shock to the house and has left everyone pretty upset. When I uncovered the birds this morning I didn't see Puff in her cage. Which of course lead to a frantic search, and then a sudden stop by me to think and go back over to her cage and look. Puff I'm very sad to say has passed away. Looking at everything it looks as if she for some reason tried to curl herself up in a food dish, and possibly smothered herself once getting stuck. There were lots of instant tears in the house since all the girls were out helping to locate her since I had first thought she had gotten out of her cage. Little Bug is taking it very hard since Puff was her little buddy. The girls are going to take the day to deal with the shock of what has happened, and figure just where they would like to take Puff to bury her. Tomorrow may not be much better for girls because I would like to have Puff laid to rest by then. It is an odd day for me since I keep expecting to hear her scream at the other birds about their noise, or to hear the sound of her bells as she chirped into them. Of all of the animals in the house, Puff was the one that was happiest making you smile because of her never ending antics.

I've debated with myself today about putting the link to Carly and Dylan for this week, and I'm going to hold off till next week to post it. It will be a fun post for next Friday to go with the pictures that I was going to use today until the day just went bad. So everyone try to have a good weekend and hopefully things will go better this coming week and I will get back to a normal Feline, Furball, and Feathers Friday post with links.

Just real quick for today since the crud that has been making its rounds through the house is finally winning and taking me down for the count too. Angel isn't worried though because her girl Sweetpea is only fighting with allergy issues. Only thing Angel needs Mom for is to either remind someone to do something for her, or to get those blinds open at the right time for prime bird watching. So the rest of us can feel free to sneeze, cough, and blow our noses as much as we want. Heck she doesn't mind if we run a fever, just as long as she can get access to us to curl up on whoever is running the fever, because it would be a crime for all the heat to just go to waste. Don't bother complaining about body aches to her though, because she just doesn't have time to listen to that, there are toy balls in the back hallway to bat around and tease the heck out of those furballs with. Angel was kind to me though and actually sat still for a change for me to get a picture of her, so any blur to it is because of me and having a chill or two while trying to get the camera as steady as possible.

Trust me you really don't want me to do that because I have the queen of pout living under my roof. Have one of the feathers to share this week. Puff has been the bird that makes me laugh since she came home to this house over a year ago now. Her antics when it is time to clean the cages makes everyone crack up, but her thing this week with cleaning and changing of food and water dishes really got me. Seems that Puff thinks that the food containers are just the right size of dish for her. To the point that when the lid was put on the container she sat on top of it knocking and doing her best mad screech. Once again I say, she may be the smallest of the animals in this house, but she sure has the biggest attitude.

Angel has had a bad week here after getting banned from entering my room. I would call it a grounding, but since I'm leaning towards a forever thing, banned is a much better word. Miss Angel gets upset about things...lots of things actually. You know things like, the water is to dirty (which if she wouldn't drink from the dogs water dish this wouldn't be a problem) or there aren't anymore kitty treats (once again I have to point out that if she wouldn't shred the packages I wouldn't have to get rid of the treats). Basically her list goes on and on and it all boils down to one thing if she wouldn't do the first action I think she could be a happier kitty cat. However, Miss Angel doesn't play that way and in the her kitty mind I am to blame for all things wrong (Hey! That is just like my kids too!). So she when she is feeling down and wronged she heads to my bed room and causes havoc and chaos on a grand scale. Well, last Saturday I finally reached my breaking point and shut my door and have not allowed me Miss Angel in since. She has spent every day this week wandering the house during the day meowing as loud as her little kitty lungs will let her (which is really very loud!) and she really isn't taking time to rest during the day. She has to keep watch for that door and the possibility that Mom will leave it open or maybe Dad will move just slow enough so that she can make a run for it. The poor kitty cat is just ending up exhausted and being forced to sleep on the back of the couch! I know, I'm such a horrible kitty Mom.

Alright we have birthday's to celebrate this week! Carly's boys turned one!

It looks like a great celebration with a very cute cake. Happy Birthday Dylan and Hendrix!

Captured Trinity in the middle of a good pouting session. What is she pouting about? Who really knows. She is just a bit of a moody doggy who really enjoys a good pout whenever she feels she has been wronged. Which in her mind she is wronged every minute of every day.

Trinity could be pouting about not having any links this week, but I've explained to her that people are very busy and with the whole change over may not realize where to come and visit, but we are going to keep doing the Feline and Furball posting regardless. Feline & Furball Friday

It has been a while since one of the dogs let me take pictures of them, so I was very happy yesterday when Trinity stayed still so I could get a couple of pictures. Alright so staying still isn't entirely true, she did a whipping around of her head thing as if she was keeping watch to see who might see her getting her picture taken. My big girl Trinity is being driven crazy by the fact that there are yet again new neighbors moving in on the side that has brought nothing but tormenting people kids. I'm hoping that will not be the case with this new family.

The sad news for this entry is that Steve's cat Pickle passed away last Sunday. He said that he will be posting on more this week, and then not sure just what will happen with the meme. Reading the news of Pickle made me think about all of the great animal friends that have left in the last year. I hope everyone will stop by and visit Steve and leave comments of comfort for him. Gypsy Rose and her new places to hide

Well, since I didn't get any picture of birds like I was hoping to, I'm going with Miss Gypsy Rose and her new hiding spots...I mean bed and tower. Binky Sue has been down sizing her room and doing a college makeover and Gypsy Rose this week got a very pretty and super soft bed and a kitty condo tower. I think the only reason Gypsy likes them is because it is right now giving her new places to hide. I do have to report though that a break through has happened with Gypsy. She now runs towards the door, and on a couple of occasions she has taken four steps out the door and sat in the hallway. Alright so she has not sat for longer than maybe 30 seconds at any given time, but it is a HUGE deal. Take into account that when she came home here to live in February that she trembled when ever anyone other than Binky Sue got close, I was thrilled to see her run towards the door and venture out into the hallway, even if it had only been 5 seconds.
However with all of the major changes going on in Binky's room this week Gypsy is back in hiding. Mostly because of other people coming in the room to help with things. Let that door close and no one but Binky Sue and Gypsy in the room, and Miss Gypsy Rose is snuggled up on her girls lap watching endless videos on YouTube.

Poor Puppy

I know it isn't Friday yet, but some pictures of animals just can't wait. Imagine my surprise to come out of the back side of the house to find this laying on the couch. The look of "leave me alone I'm depressed and trying to nap here" that Trinity had on her face was to much for me. Poor pitiful puppy had been left all alone in the living room. I can guess how she got the pillow and blanket down on her, with 70 pounds of doggy bashing her body into the back of the couch would be how. I'm guessing with Sweetpea and Little Bug out at the park, and Binky Sue and Mom doing stuff in their rooms, Trinity just really didn't like the fact that she was all alone. Ah once again I say poor pitiful puppy.
