Crazy busy

To say that things have been busy is a bit of an understatement at this point in time, so let's go with crazy busy to describe life here in Arizona. I'm just happy to have time to sit down and catch up on some reading of my favorite blogs and heck even e-mails! Binky Sue started back to school this week and her daily schedule is insane right now. Balancing work and 14 credit hours is going to be a fun thing for her this term. Sweetpea and Little Bug are doing fine with the start of the second semester at the high school, and are starting to add lots of extra things to my already full calendar. Speaking of my calendar...as of yesterday I did a bang up job of adding lots more to it myself. We found a place to rent and will be moving in February! For any family thinking about coming out to visit, be ready we are now going to be on one of those wonderfully marked dirt roads that Arizona just loves oh so very much. Of course if you don't want to try and find us we can just meet up at Buddy's bar or they can just give you directions out to us! No joke...everything for dealing with the rental is taken care of out of Buddy's Bar. So family that has already been out here might be able to have an idea of about where we will be living come February. Whetstone area, at least a good mile plus before you hit the lights on the highway for mustang corners. We have been calling it our "country ghetto" home. I think the dealing with having to go to the bar for paperwork and all other things is what got that started. I've laughed so hard and had my girls ask me to stop lying to them about that. No joke here though people. It is bigger than what we are currently in. Older house but not as old as what we are living in. Oh and Oma we are going to have horses in our front yard area! About maybe 40-50 feet away from the front of the house is where their area starts. I'm super excited about all of it except for one thing...of dogs and cats we can only have three. We have 4 and a hard heart breaking choice has had to be made. Unlike others that I have called about though the animals are allowed to live in the house and not outside the house. Angel is the fur baby that we are going to find a new home for because I think of any of them she would deal best with change. We have a house full of hurting hearts right now though because of it. I would have loved to find a place for all of them to go with too, but time has kind of run out and we need to get moving.

So mid February is the time frame that we are looking at being moved from here to new place, which means things for the next month is going to be very busy. There is tons to get done and starting this weekend is the great go through the house and downsize stuff that is no longer being used, no longer fits, or just is no longer needed. Hubby and girls will probably not be real thrilled with this but it is one thing that I have always loved about moving time. A clearing of stuff that has just been stuffed away for a later that never comes. I've already started making some phone calls about Sweetpea and Little Bug for school and I'm happy that they can stay right where they are for the rest of the school year. Tomorrow we will give housing 30 days notice which I honestly can not wait to do! This is it...the final tie and I don't know about anyone else in the family but I'm more than ready for this one. Oh just in case I didn't mention it I will have no neighbors right on top of me!! Country ghetto here I come...well as soon as we get deposits paid, lease signed and all that good stuff at Buddy's bar done next week!!
I hope that everyone is doing well, staying warm and safe. Have a great Thursday and take care.

Simple Saturday

Sunrise, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I've been so busy the last couple of weeks that it didn't hit me till this morning that I hadn't picked up my camera since Thanksgiving day! The cell phone camera has been with me at all points in time and has been the only one that has gotten used...how very sad really. I did get a good work out with the canon camera today taking pictures at a birthday party for a friend and I'm looking forward to sitting down tomorrow and checking out the photo's.
Tonight's picture was taken at sunrise Monday morning and I kept thinking about posting it but since you can look at the blog and see that I never did get around to it. I'm debating if I'm going to get around to doing the yearly countdown to Christmas on the blog. Heck I'm debating if I'm ever going to get any baking done early this year or be spending lots of time the day before baking as much as I can stand. Good news is that all things are starting to slow down around here as we get closer to the holiday and I am really looking forward to the slow down.

Alright, I think that is enough of a ramble from me for one post. I hope that everyone has had wonderful Saturday and that there is a very relaxing Sunday in store for all of us.

Sibling Sunday

Fall Festival of Color 2009-1, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I'm just not keeping up here as well as I would like to the last couple of weeks. I'm going to try this week though and I have a good amount of new photo's to share even. I've been trying to get myself and my camera out for short bursts of time to relax and the never ending attempt to get my mind to settle some.

Anyway this is sibling day not about me time. The Fall Festival of Color was this weekend and I have to say that the girls and I were a little bit more than disappointed. We do understand that the wind played a huge roll with this weekend and why they couldn't do a lot of the things, but this morning was perfect and to only have two balloons show up for the early morning ascension was just sad.
Sweetpea and Little Bug went out with me for the Saturday night glow, which wasn't to bad...it was just cut short due to the winds. We wandered around the park and listened to some pretty good music, and bought some to expensive treats, but it was for a good fund raiser so that is good. Yes Little Bug is still on those crutches! No I didn't make her go and walk all over creation with those, she wanted to go! Tuesday we finally have an appointment for her to be seen now that everything Tricare has been straightened out. I'm guessing x-rays are something that is needed, and that she is going to have even more time on the crutches since she still can't put any weight of any kind on it.

Sweetpea had a good week and says it is really feeling like her senior year now. Of course what could help make it feel real finally? The order for the cap, gown, and announcements was turned in Friday. Hold on let me get my best happy going on here....woohoo. Nope not working, oh well maybe later. I am excited for Sweetpea and this being her year, it is the cost of everything that leaves me less than thrilled. We went with a smaller package this year and are not far below what was spent last year. Oh yeah and they increased the sales tax which was just wonderful! It is done though and that is all that matters till April/May time period. Sweetpea's Friday was made even better because of progress reports coming out and her having very solid good grades this time.

Binky Sue is feeling the stress of juggling school, work, home work, life. She completed her middle school observation and is trying to get her high school and elementary school time jump started, to bad no one seems capable of calling her back. So the plan for this week is go directly to the schools. Yes, she is planning a sneak attack called just show up in the office and see what she can get done. She has started making sure to take time on what seems to be her one free day of Sunday to enjoy things. Be it spending time with family in the wee hours of the morning for the balloons that don't show up, or spending the afternoon hanging out with a friend at the mall or just at their house. The art of taking time to decompress is what she is quickly learning. Oh and last weekend she for the first time complained about why do the weekends go by so fast!

Alright that is all that I can think of to write about for the girls this weekend. I hope that everyone is doing well and has enjoyed a great weekend spent with those you love the most. I'm going to try to at least post new pictures every day this week. Hey any entry without words would probably be great after this long rambling thing.

Just a thought

IMG00160, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I would love to have just one clear thought this week. Heck I would love to be able to type one word without having to hit the back space key! I know it is only Tuesday and there is still so much left to this week, but I've already had enough! Dealing with Triwest has left me this way, and the joy of all of it is I still need to get an appointment made for Little Bug this week, and still can't get anyone to deal with me. JOY!! This morning was a couple hours of my life either on the phone or in the local office that left me with the feeling of I'm just not speaking the same language or the right one. Of course I'm not sure what would be the right one. I do keep hearing the following words though..."Well you do have coverage it just isn't the one that you paid for, but the good news is that we will retro-activate it to the first of November!" Oh and that is great, wonderful and any other number of things but...we paid for prime coverage and I expect prime coverage and the difference is that until that retro-activation happens we have standard coverage and that means deductibles to pay and that pesky extra 20%, and then pray that you will reimburse for it after the retro takes place. Hmm...and we bothered making sure that we took care of all of this before why???? Little Bug is still in pain and can't put any weight on her ankle and I still can't get anyone to set an appointment with her till this is all fixed! Great!!

Yep I'm a bit on the pissed off side of life here this week. I'm actually having thoughts of bad things that can be done with a set of crutches...to bad Little Bug needs those to be able to get around with! My next thought is that come Thursday morning I'm taking Little Bug to the MTF and just walking in to see the Dr. that she saw last week. It is Dr. R who Little Bug has seen for the last 5 years, and I'm sure hearing the tale she would be more than willing to share a few choice words with some people about all of this.

Alright, I'm done venting for now. I hope that everyone is having a good week so far.

Sibling Sunday

IMG_7488, originally uploaded by torri_g.

Ah Sunday! I'm so glad to see you on the calendar today. This last week was one of those crazy busy weeks and I still have the feeling of needing more sleep. Little Bug and Sweetpea were on fall break, which I thought would have made for a calmer week but boy was that thought wrong. Binky Sue had a week of juggling classes, work, home work, making calls for getting observation hours done for a class (hopefully she has also remembered to e-mail her teacher about needing a letter for the base middle school). Little Bug wanted her birthday portraits done, had a friend that came to stay for a couple of days, and then the whole birthday party. Which I now know that 7 14/15 year olds are louder than just about anything I can think of. It all went well though and Sweetpea and Mom just sat hiding out for a little bit till they all seemed to have enough sugar in them to balance out their already naturally hyper. No joke they got quieter and calmer with the more sugar they ate. I swear sometimes watching the kids at the parties is like watching a science experiment unfold, but Sweetpea and I enjoyed watching it.

Alright, I think that is going to be about it for this week since I need to get going here soon. I hope that everyone has had a great weekend, and that today there is lots of time spent with those you care about the most. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Monday morning

Artwork by Sweetpea, originally uploaded by torri_g.

Yet again the weekend passed to quickly. Of course having all but one person sick with flu I really would have liked for this weekend to take a little extra time and give everyone the possibility of feeling better. Sweetpea is the only one not being taken down by the bug in right now. I was doing a good job of out running it till late Friday night. Saturday I tried to keep going, but come Saturday night that was it for me. Binky Sue and Little Bug seem to be feeling better, but like said I would really like for them to have a little bit more of a weekend to rest. It is Monday though and time for heading back to the school that had 21% of the student body out last week because of flu and flu like symptoms. So I'm just going to cross my fingers, hope and pray that we can be done with the flu in this house. Now with that said excuse me while my body tries to make up it's mind if I'm going to have a hot flash or a case of the chills. I hope everyone has a good day, and try to avoid the germs that are flying around early this year.

Lazy Sibling Sunday

I wish that I had some great picture to post, but I don't. Wish I had some great stories about the siblings to post, but I don't. It has just been really pretty quiet around here the last couple of weeks. Everyone is settled into school year routines and there just isn't all that much going on right now. Well, other than the never ending amount of time spent in the car transporting back and forth to things. I think today will probably be a very lazy Sunday since it is raining and has been since the wee early hours of the morning. No sun tends to equal very lazy day.

On a side note, yesterday was day 5 of no cigarettes for me!(YAY!) I'm really looking forward to hitting one full week in the next couple of days, Tuesday to be exact, but that can all wait for my Thursday posting. I hope that everyone enjoys a wonderful Sunday, and if you have sun shine enjoy it even more.

Rough around the edges

IMG_6663, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I have been trying to think of something to post for the last couple of days, and really still don't have anything. The girls are all good and just busy with school, Army Guy is good and just busy with appointments, and I am good and just trying to keep my sanity with all the new routines that every one else has settled into. I actually had a moment tonight that had me panicked thinking that I had forgot to drive someone to a class. With all of the changes in the last couple weeks I still haven't found time to get back out with my camera for a day, but hopefully coming up here soon I will manage a trip.

I hope that everyone is having a good week.

Just a thought

I'm sitting here thinking that maybe, just maybe a nasty little "bug" maybe trying to work it's way into this house already. My Little Bug looks like she could sleep for about a week, but only if she is armed with a couple of boxes of tissues. Army Guy is starting to sound like he needs a couple of his own tissue boxes, and I would just love for my head to stop feeling like two sumo wrestlers are pushing on the sides of my head.

That is enough of me and my thought here for the night. I hope that everyone had a great Wednesday, and tomorrow I will have picture and my first of hopefully many new Thursday postings.

Mindless Monday

IMG_6701, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I'm just going to keep this simple. Let's all look at the pretty busy picture. A mind is a horrible thing to waste, and mine is working over time to string what few words I have typed here, together today. I hope that everyone has a good Monday, and I'm off to try and see about getting my brain to work here today.

Hopping Around

Horse Lubber, originally uploaded by torri_g.

This is by far the coolest grass hopper I have ever seen! The fact that I was able to locate it in the tall grass the other day is nothing short of a miracle, and I tried to not torment it to much while getting it picked up and moved to a rock so I could get a better picture. If I hadn't moved it though we could have played a great game of find the grass hopper in the picture here on the blog.

Speaking about hopping around this post is going to take a big leap here now. Thursday are going to become my day to post about my stopping smoking journey. It has been years of trying and not being able to push through it. Last week however, Army Guy and I went to see the nurse for the smoking sensation class and as of yesterday we picked up the medicine to start this journey together. It is recommended to keep track of days because each packet holds seven days worth of pills. Since we are starting them this morning, looks like Thursdays will be the day. We have been put on Chantix and for the first 7 days we maintain with the smoking while the medicine builds up in our systems. Our basic quit date is set for next Friday. Basic quick date is the day that you want to try to put that pack of cigarettes down, but keep them handy for just in case. Since we both really want this for an number of reasons, I think this route with the medicine is going to be our best bet. So on Thursdays when the new packet of medicine is opened you are going to get to read updates about how it is going. It is going to be my way of keeping myself in check for this.

Anyway, I hope that everyone has a great Thursday, and see you back here tomorrow for Feline and Furball Friday.

Monday Morning Mindless

IMG_6589, originally uploaded by torri_g.

After sitting here yesterday afternoon taking mindless pictures of the girls being goofy, I've realized that I really need to get out of the house with my camera. It isn't that I don't enjoy taking pictures of my girls, but they are about all I have taken pictures of in the last couple of months. One can only shot so many pictures of Binky Sue doing her text messaging before it just gets old. Text messaging is her life line to the world by the way, or at least that is what I'm sure she would say if asked.

There isn't all that much planned for the first part of this week so maybe I will finally pick up the camera and get out of this house. I hope that everyone has a good start to the week.

Not much

Since I've been having horrible headaches, knee pain that is just barely manageable, and a couple of busy days, I'm finding myself with a lot I want to post about, but not a whole heck of a lot I'm willing to post about. I'd like to say that I'm going to try to get back on track here soon, but right now I'm thinking a total derailment and taking time off would probably be for the best. Probably not for a very long time, but long enough to get things back in order in my mind. I hope that everyone has had a good week, and I will keep track of and sort out all the things that I think are important enough to post about.

Figures

It figures that I finally feel like I can shoot senior portraits or any pictures for that matter, and the monsoon rain finally kicks in in major fashion. Yesterday there was enough rain to send water running through the back ravine high enough to be see from the back yard. Heck we had thunder, lightning and even had hail at one point in time. So Sweetpea's day two of shooting is on hold till we see what today is going to bring our way weather wise. Which is fine really because it gave Sweetpea and I a chance to talk about some different poses and just what we wanted to change about the first shot's.

Since this is just going to be a rambling post anyway I'll take a few minutes to catch up on some other things. After this week and really trying to push myself with this knee of mine, I've come to the conclusion that odds are good that I will be calling to see about getting the injection that was offered. I'm noticing that I am making it further and further walking without to much more than a throbbing pain, but pretty much any thing else with the knee is still out of the question because of the pain it causes.

Some good thoughts for Binky Sue would be great this week also. She has an appointment tomorrow and so that she doesn't think about killing her mother I will leave it at that.

Monday starts the back to school registration and I need to find Little Bugs shot records because I know for a fact that there are some that she needs. She got out of having to have them done the last couple of years because of the Epilepsy, and the fact that neither of the doctors would sign off on letting her have them. Now that she has out grown that I'm pretty sure that the school would like for her to be current and up to date. Little Bug really would love to not have to go and get any shots though.

I think that is about it really. I hope that everyone has a good Thursday and that the weather is nice for all of us today.

Monday Rambling

IMG_5837, originally uploaded by torri_g.

Yesterday and today have probably been the laziest days we have had as a whole family in a good while. The only one that probably did much of anything today is Binky Sue and that is only because a friend called and asked her to spend the day and stay the night over at her house. The rest of us have done very little here. Wait very little would imply that we did something...okay we did nothing! There has been chilled out television watching, naps, and not much of anything else. Ah what a great couple of days it has been. Tomorrow though will be different. The time has come whether I'm ready or not to shot Sweetpea's senior portraits. I'm going to start with the indoor portraits since I think they are going to be more problematic for me than the outdoor one's. I'm hoping that with getting busy shooting portraits will spring me into getting some much needed house cleaning done, laundry done and a few other things around here. I'm working it in my mind that I will not down load any pictures till they are all shot.(This thought may end up being a huge failure, but I'm really going to try.)

I hope that everyone has had a good Monday and that tomorrow is another good day.

Not sure Thursday

IMG_5835, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I had a subject title to go with the picture, but once I finally got the picture uploaded there was a blank space in my brain where the title had been. Which is fine really because the post itself probably would have ended up having nothing to do with either one. Yes I'm feeling as if my brain has suddenly stepped out on me here this morning. Maybe it was the day of shopping yesterday. Maybe it was the in and out of the heat. Maybe I just have one to many things on my mind and my brain is going to just take a quick vacation here this morning because it knows that by mid day odds are good that I will have one heck of a headache going on yet again. Maybe the brain is even more worried about another day of stuff to be done and the pain that will shortly be throbbing in my knee. Good news is that this afternoon is the appointment with the doctor to go over the MRI results and find out just what we are going to be doing to make this knee better.

Yesterday was the day of school clothes shopping, and was going to be just a shopping day for Sweetpea and her senior year back to school, but because of to good to pass up sales ended up being Sweetpea and Little Bug shopping. Little Bug was caught off guard with it but with sales as good as we found you just can not let the good prices get away from you when in the mall. Other than hair cuts, shoes, and school supplies we are done. Now the talk of doing Sweetpea's senior portraits has really kicked in. I'm actually thinking about trying to start shooting them here in the next week and will just have to remember to be very careful with what I do with the knee. If anything else it would give me something to sit and work on if I should have surgery on the knee here soon. Little Bug is tickled to death about her new wardrobe. Since for the last three years she has had to wear uniforms, being able to express herself with her clothes is very exciting for her. I'm just worried about her seemingly non stop growth spurt she is currently going through. Since May she has pushed up to just shy of seeing eye to eye with me and since I know she reads here just about daily I won't go into the other major changes. I think she had more than enough while shopping yesterday with her whole family helping look for the right size "under gear" as Army guy called it. I'm just hoping what we bought yesterday will fit through till at least the half way point of this year.

Every year I enjoy watching Sweetpea pick her style for the coming year, and again this year I was surprised with the choices. She is even brighter than last year, and more "girlie" too. Anyone who knows Sweetpea knows how she feels about being to "girlie" and that is why it is surprising for me. We have soft pastel colors this year, and even more layers than last year. There are some shirts that are very daring V necks. Well, not very daring but for Sweetpea anything with a V neck is daring really. We have the shortest sleeves I have ever seen her go with. (Just so you understand, for Sweetpea 3/4 length sleeve has been a mandatory thing for years.) This year we have tank tops of just about every color, and shirts that just barely have a sleeve though. Even better we have jeans that are actually her true size! Don't laugh it is a really big thing here. To be honest I can't wait to shoot her portraits just so I can have proof of what she picked out before it makes it's way to the hidden back of the closet.

Alright enough of me and my rambling for this morning. I just remembered the original title for my post here. "Half Empty, Half Full" but for the life of me I still can't remember why. I hope that everyone has a great Thursday, and I may be back later tonight with a post about things from today.

Busy Bee

Busy Bee, originally uploaded by torri_g.

Yesterday was a semi busy bee kind of day. Quick and early out of the house to pick up x-ray disk from the local hospital and then off to have my MRI done. Sit and wait, wait, and wait a little more because if it is local appointment I just still after 5 years of being here can not get my timing right. Now tell me appointment in Tucson and I can get that timing right. Finally get called back in and get to see the poor guy that they have walking laps up and down the hallways in his gown and tennis shoes feeling like an idiot. At least he had a great sense of humor about the whole thing, and would cheerfully say hello every time he passed me. He also would throw in comments about how stupid he felt doing the laps in his outfit and asked that no one take a picture of him because he was sure that his wife would love to post that.
Finally off to the room to get the MRI done and thankful that for the first time ever of having one done that they had head phones. I got to listen to classic rock for the 25 minutes of the beating and banging that is known as having a MRI done, and other than freezing to death by the time I was done, just about feel asleep during it. Simple things like "Have a great day" and "Your doctor will probably have the results sometime tomorrow" and I was left to try and find my way out of the maze. Thank goodness there were other people back there that could point the directions to me or I would still probably be trying to find my way out of that place. No kidding...it was a huge maze in there.
The good thing about being freezing cold was when I got outside and hit the 90+ temperature at 10:00 in the morning, I didn't feel like I was melting on the spot.

Army Guy and I took a look at a house yesterday and I'm still not real sure just what to say about it other than "we looked at a house yesterday". I will say that picking one of the hottest days to go looking is probably not such a great idea. The fun of walking into a house that is and has been sitting closed up all summer in Arizona is like walking right into a blast furnace.
Today is going to be a more simple day or errand running. Binky Sue has some job listings that she would like to get out and put in applications for, and tonight is her meeting with the Lions Club. Tomorrow will be a day of shopping for Sweetpea and possibly Little Bug and the ever dreaded back to school clothes. I'm still debating the idea of driving to Tucson. We are hot here and hitting 100...but for Tucson they are running a good 10-15 degrees higher. Add heat coming off of roads and good grief I'm so not sure about that trip. Maybe keep it more local where it may be hot but at least we can get back home quickly.

Come Thursday I have appointment with surgeon to go over the MRI, and I can honestly say that I'm really interested in knowing just what all I did to this knee of mine, and if we really are going to do surgery to correct it. Anyway, I hope that everyone is having a good week so far, and that there is more good just waiting for us all this week.

WARNING!!Dehydrated Tarantula

Dehydrated Tarantula, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I'm feeling less of a complaining mood here tonight because the girls and I got out and had a mini adventure today. What I love about summer with the girls and our outings is that they always find something and yell out "We so need a picture of that Mom!" Seeing as my knee has kept us indoors most of this summer there hasn't been that. Well, until today and our trip out to the public library for Little Bug's AP English summer reading work. Sad thing is that Little Bug still was not able to find what she was looking for, but I got to hear those words yelled out in the parking lot. Yes it is a dead tarantula. Yes it is laying out in the library parking lot. Oh and yes this thing is really probably about as dehydrated as a piece of jerky at this point in time. Yes I'm happy that they spotted it and yelled out for a picture to be taken of the thing. As strange as it is it had done wonders for my mood here today. Of course getting out of the house probably would have done that too, but it is just better this way. After getting some books, and of course the picture in the parking lot, we headed out to the San Pedro House so Sweetpea could see the huge tree out there herself. We wandered around slowly and taking it very easy for Mom with the bum knee, and the girls found several other things to tell me to take pictures of. Tonight I'm paying drastically for it all, but heck I would have been paying for it anyway since there doesn't really seem to be a break from the pain just different levels of it.

I hope that everyone has had a great Wednesday, and I will be back tomorrow with some more new pictures from today's outing. But not until we get back home from driving with Binky Sue and a trip out to Garden Canyon for hopefully some more great photo taking.

Need to get out

100_9129, originally uploaded by torri_g.

I know that I'm recycling pictures here now, it hit me after I had uploaded this picture then looked through and saw that I already had it uploaded. I need to pick up the camera, and I need to get out of this house. Only problem with that is after yesterday I'm not so sure that I want to. The complete truth about it is that the more I'm up and moving around the more my knee sends pain ripping through my whole body. Is anyone else tired of the topic of my knee? Because I sure am tired of it. I'm glad that Army Guy had yesterday off and was able to drive us for errand running for Binky Sue, but for the second errand I ended up sitting in the car because when I went to stand up getting out of the car I was hit with pain that sent my whole world spinning. Poor Little Bug's errand got pushed off till today and I'm hoping that I can manage to it done here. A simple thing like a trip to the library has me wondering if my knee can play nice for just a little bit.
Here we are in July and the monsoon rain has been going for a while now, and we have yet to make a trip out to any of the canyon area's to see the wild flowers that are by now in full bloom, or butterfly's that I'm sure are busy sunning themselves along the trails. Oh and let's not forget the humming birds that are along those same trails that could be photographed. Sweetpea would like to head out to the San Pedro House to see the giant tree that I took photo's of a couple of months ago, and maybe take some time to sit and sketch but the whole summer is boiling down to what I can't do with this knee. I've had days where the thought "I am doing it anyway" has gone through my head and then I move just right and my knee locks up and the pain shoots through, and I remember why I can not do it.
Alright enough of me and my complaining. I think this is boiling down to me saying I'm going to do it anyway, and it is probably going to hurt, but the thought of spending another day doing a lot of nothing just isn't an option. I hope that everyone has a great Tuesday, and try to enjoy some time spent with those you love the most.

Quick Weekend

I'm sitting here and can not belive that the weekend is all but over already. What did I get done? Great question really, and there is only one time wasting answer. I sat all weekend going through pictures. Every single picture that I have taken in the last 5 years! Two days worth of looking at pictures really has left me not wanting to look at another picture again for a little while. Which is fine since I actually have other stuff to try to get done tomorrow. Why the major going through of pictures? No I wasn't just looking for a way to be lazy this whole weekend. Army Guy has a friend who asked about me putting together some stock photo's to see about selling. Bad thing is that the more I look at the pictures the more I tend to not like any of them. I had helpers though this weekend. All three of the girls and Army Guy went through the first one's that I selected to help me pick which one's to keep or get rid of. Although, Army Guy only picked one to get rid of, I guess he was either being kind of really just thought they were all good enough. It is done though and there are 200 pictures waiting for him to look at and see what he thinks.

Other than that there really isn't much of anything else. Like I said, I sat going through pictures all weekend long. This week is my orthopedics appointment, and before that on Tuesday I really have to get out and pick up the x-ray's from the hospital tomorrow. There is going to be an assortment of errands to run this week, and school clothes shopping trip for Sweetpea. Which then leads me right back to pictures yet again because of needing to start work on her senior portraits. Oh and the fact that I have portraits to do for someone else in the month of July. Binky Sue has said that she is going with me for any portrait sessions to remind me to be careful with what I do with my knee. Of course this was after she threatened to duct tape my brace to my leg. She's just looking out for her Mom though.

Alright, that is it for this entry tonight. I hope that everyone had a great weekend, and that there is a great week just waiting for all of us.
